About Me

Hi, I'm Rod Halpert. I'm an airline captain and the traveler behind Jet The Globe. Years of travel for work and pleasure have taught me that a great trip comes from curiosity, good planning, and knowing when a splurge is worth it.

Here I share travel stories, practical ideas, and lessons picked up along the way. I travel across budgets: sometimes the smart choice is a comfortable hotel or a better seat, and sometimes it is saving money on the things that matter less. What matters to me is getting good value and having a memorable experience.

I also run Jet The Globe Media, where I create travel content for destinations and brands.

My travels have brought me friends, experiences, and memories. I hope yours do the same.
